Postgraduate research satisfaction

The latest data from a survey of 126 institutions and 116,250 students offers valuable insights into student satisfaction. Only 56% of postgraduate research students expressed satisfaction with industry engagement, yet 94% were pleased with their skills development. Overall satisfaction for postgraduate research students stands at 84%, outperforming undergraduate satisfaction, which dropped from 80% in 2021 to 76%.

Notably, postgraduate research graduates feel better prepared for jobs (80%) compared to coursework (74%) and undergraduate (67%) students. Managerial and professional occupation rates are highest for postgraduate research students (89.5%).
